Subscriptions

Accessible to everyone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from April to November. Take one when you need one, and return it to any station when you arrive at your destination. Subscribe by the day, by the month or by the year.

Yearly and 30 day subscriptions

Simpler, faster, and more economical, yearly and monthly subscriptions offer an unlimited number of trips at a lower price. As always, there are no trip fees for the first 30 minutes of each ride. Trip fees will be charged for rides lasting longer than 30 minutes. For an explanation of trip fees, see: How it Works.

As a yearly or monthly subscriber, you will receive a special Nice Ride key that will give you quick easy access to the bikes and a personal web space that will allow you to track your usage.

A yearly subscription lasts 365 days from the time of purchase. Yearly subscribers will receive a special Nice Ride user manual filled with nearly $500 in coupons and special offers at local businesses.

1. To unlock a bike, simply insert your Nice Ride key directly into the bike dock of your choice. No need to use the pay station.
2. When the green light turns on, pull the handlebars firmly toward you to release the bike. Your 30 free minutes begin now.
3. Return the bike to any Nice Ride station in the system. Push the front wheel firmly into any empty bike dock.*

*IMPORTANT: Make sure the green light turns on. A bike that is not properly returned remains your responsibility. If you have trouble locking your bike, try another dock, or call customer service at 1-877-551-6423.

24-hour subscriptions

24 hour subscriptions are purchased using a credit card at the Nice Ride kiosk. A 24-hour subscription gives you the right to an unlimited number of trips in a 24-hour period for just $5 plus trip fees. As always, there are no trip fees for the first 30 minutes of each ride. 24 hour subscriptions are great if you're visiting from out of town or just want to try out the system before purchasing a yearly or or 30 day subscription.

1. Go to the pay station and choose the icon representing a bike, then read and accept the usage agreement.
2. Pay by inserting your credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). A hold of $50 is placed on your card for each subscription purchased*. Your credit card serves to identify you as a user. A maximum of two 24-hour subscriptions can be charged to your credit card at one time.
3. You will be issued a 5 digit unlocking code. It is valid for 5 minutes. To obtain a new unlocking code during the 24-hour period, start over by inserting your credit card again: the system will recognize it and no additional fees will be charged to your card.
4. Enter your unlocking code on the keypad of the bike dock of your choice. When you see the green light turn on, pull the handlebars firmly toward you to release the bike.
5. Return the bike to any Nice Ride station in the system. Push the front wheel firmly into any empty bike dock.*

*IMPORTANT: Make sure the green light turns on. A bike that is not properly returned remains your responsibility. If you have trouble locking your bike, try another dock, or call customer service at 1-877-551-6423.

*IMPORTANT: We recommend that you use a credit card and not a debit/check card.   If you use a debit/check card, be aware that your bank will place a $50 hold on your account balance for each subscription purchased. If there are insufficient funds in your account to cover this hold, it may result in an overdraft. This hold can last for up to 10 days. The length of the hold period is controlled by your bank, not by Nice Ride.
