Park & Pedal to the Art Fairs

August 5-7, Minneapolis provides a bountiful offering of intriguing art with the Uptown Art Fair, the Loring Art Festival, and the Powderhorn Art Fair. Ever wished the festivals were easier to get to? Nice Ride has your solution! Along with our generous sponsors, Nice Ride will provide centralized parking areas to park your car at no charge. Bring your own bike to ride to the Festivals or let Nice Ride take you there!

  1. Check out the Park & Pedal map for parking locations and Nice Ride stations.
  2. Park for FREE at designated Wells Fargo and Midtown Global Market parking areas.
  3. Check in with a Nice Ride representative at the designated lots.
  4. Bring your own, or use a Nice Ride bike at a nearby station (subscription rates and Trip Fees apply)
  5. Use the bike routes on the map to get to the Art Fair!

And for this program only, Nice Ride will install a temporary station at Powderhorn Park on 14th Ave S between 32nd and 33rd Street.

Parking options available 5:30 pm August 5 - 6 pm August 7.

All the Art Fairs will have bike corrals at the locations identified below and on the map if you choose to ride your own bike.

Loring Park Art Fest (August 6-7): On the South West corner of the Park
Uptown Art Fair (August 5-7): Nice Ride will host a bike valet near Humboldt and the Midtown Greenway

Am I required to wear a helmet?

While it's not required, Nice Ride recommends that everyone wear a helmet. Keep a helmet at work or in your locker. Freewheel Bike offers 20% off Trek helmets to all Nice Ride Subscribers (bring your Nice Ride key or a receipt from any Nice Ride station). Pick-up a helmet at Freewheel's West Bank store or the Freewheel Midtown Bike Center
