2012 Season ends November 4th, 10pm

The 2012 Nice Ride season will end at 10pm on Sunday November 4th. Nice Ride may be forced to shut down before this date if significant snowfall occurs.

Starting at 10pm on November 4th, all stations will be locked. Users will be able to return bikes to stations but new rentals will not be allowed. Please plan accordingly. Crews will begin removing equipment from the streets in the following days.

If you're a yearly subscriber, please hang on to your key. Yearly subscriptions last a full 365 days from the date your key was activated. If your subscription began on August 1st, 2012, your key will continue working until July 31, 2013. You will continue to use the same key next year.

The Nice Ride season typicaly runs from the first week of April, through the first week of November, weather permitting. Many of our location permits require us to remove equipment from streets and sidewalks before significant snowfall occurs to accommodate snow plowing. In addition, exposing our equipment to road salt would violate the terms of our equipment warranties.

Thanks to everyone who helped make 2012 another terrific year for us. We expect to end the year at around 275,000 rentals, our best season ever. If you'd like to know more about what we've been up to, be sure to check out our newly released annual report.

Thank you for using Nice Ride, watch for our return in early April of 2013.

Hello,

I was wondering when Nice Ride will be up and "biking" this year? I have some friends from out of town and was if they would be available on Wednesday April 3rd?

Thanks!

Bike fitting:

Nice Ride bikes are all one size and have been designed to accommodate riders between 5'0" and 6'6" in height. The seat height is easily adjustable. Our bikes are built for quick trips in the city by people wearing regular clothes and carrying ordinary stuff.
