Notice of system shutdown due to weather

The Nice Ride system will be temporarily shut down at 4pm today, Wednesday April, 10 as a precaution due to the predicted late-season winter storm. During the shutdown, users will be able to return bikes to stations but will not be able to rent additional bikes. Please plan accordingly.

Snow plows, road salt and icy conditions pose a hazard to our riders, bikes and other equipment. Announcements will be made via our website, Facebook and Twitter regarding when the system will be turned back on. Please check Spotcycle on your mobile device or the Nice Ride system map for station availability. If you see any damage to bikes or stations, please call customerservice@niceridemn.org

Posts to Facebook and Twitter will also help Nice Ride locate problems.

Thanks for your patience.  Think Spring.

From the FAQ

How long can I take a bike out?

Bike sharing is designed for short trips. Trips over 30 minutes will incur usage fees. You can take a bike out for a maximum of 24 hours. After that time, the bike will be considered lost and a replacement fee will be charged to your credit card.
