New for 2014: Nice UniRide Minnesota

The spring 2014 announcement you've all been waiting for is finally here. We're changing the Nice Ride system to better serve the Twin Cities community. We're literally halving our entire fleet of bikes to allow for increased ridership in 2014. Introducing: Nice UniRide, the new Unicycle Share System in the Twin Cities. We took all 1,500 of our two-wheeled Nice Ride bikes and cut them in half, producing 3,000 Unicycles for everyone to enjoy. You'll see the new unicycles out on the street late next week - we will be requiring all new and renewing members to sign an incredibly thorough liability form that you'll receive in the next few weeks.

For those interested, we're partnering with Freewheel Bike Shop to provide unicycle lessons to our members who would like assistance with the transition. We're looking forward to a great season and we'll see you out there!

Love the Minnesota sense of humour. Can't wait to get back there and help cut those bikes in half. Someone's got to do it.

Bwahahaha. Only saw the headline for this article early in the month and REALLY thought they were doing unis. I thought, hmmm, didn't realize people liked them that much. But today, I actually read the article. Makes me love NiceRide even more.
