We are kicking off Nice Ride in Bemidji with a nice ride to Bemidji June 19th - 22nd.

Nice Ride Greater Minnesota Bike

The ride will commence in Big Lake, MN and follow the MRT (Mississippi River Trail) to Bemidji with overnight stops in St. Cloud, Brainerd, Nevis (near Walker) arriving in Bemidji on Sunday to 22nd to the fanfare of our grand opening. Sign up by May 15th to participate!

The ride will be fully supported and will include lodging for 3 nights, meals from locally sourced - where available - restaurants, healthy snacks and large doses of camaraderie among the riders. We will be riding Nice Ride’s “Greater Minnesota” bike, Vanmoof 3-speeds that will propel us along 180 or so miles through some of the most beautiful country in Minnesota, culminating at the end of the 112 mile paved Paul Bunyan Trail.

The cost to you for this ride will be $200 which will cover a bike, all food, return transportation to the Twin Cities and a whole lot of fun.

Participants can start the ride by driving to Big Lake or by taking the Northstar Line from Target Field Station departing at 6:13 AM. We will provide transportation from Bemidji to Big Lake and to Downtown Minneapolis on Sunday.

Accommodations will only allow 20 riders for this trip so sign up fast and join us for an historical moment in Minnesota cycling.

We are planning to stay at hotels in St. Cloud, Baxter (Brainerd) and a resort in Nevis (near Walker). We are looking into the dorm at St. Cloud State as a possibility.

Bike fitting:

Nice Ride bikes are all one size and have been designed to accommodate riders between 5'0" and 6'6" in height. The seat height is easily adjustable. Our bikes are built for quick trips in the city by people wearing regular clothes and carrying ordinary stuff.
